In this week's meeting, the small scale sub-teams worked together to lower the total cost of its Bill of Materials. The small scale track and manufacturing team re-checked the inventory to find usable parts, but no significant stock could be found.
Overall, the team was able to lower cost by about $1500+. The next step for my team is to begin ordering the necessary parts for rapid typing the switch section of our design. In the meantime, we will be using plywood available in the warehouse to construct this switch section.
